Caregiver Training Instructor: Responsible for assisting the Home Care Staff Development Specialist in planning, developing, managing, and providing the State mandated Fundamentals of Caregiving training, Nurse Delegation, and Continuing Education for Home Care Aides and Individual Providers throughout Clallam and Jefferson Counties; with primary focus on Jefferson County. Hours will vary depending on need.  Wage DOE. REQUIRMENTS:  Direct care experience in long-term care, specifically in the Home Care setting within the past 3 years.  Minimum 1 year experience in the Home Care or Home Health field.  Minimum 1 year experience in training or instructing adults. Prefer RN. Strong instructional skills. Strong management skills, including communication, motivation, and teamwork.  Strong organization and time management skills. Ability to work independently, assert expectations, and relate to diverse student populations.  Must be comfortable using Microsoft Office applications and the internet. Travel throughout the peninsula. Previous experience required. Cook and Kitchen Aide for Senior Nutrition in Sequim:  Cook $8.98/Kitchen Aide $8.55 hr. Combined position, 12 hours as cook and 16 hours as kitchen aide. Responsible for washing dishes and assisting cook. Ability to perform daily tasks with minimal supervision. Minimum requirements: Food handlers card, capable of lifting fifty pounds and work in standing position for a few hours. Assistant Teacher / Itinerant Substitute: Based at Sequim Community Head Start and traveling to different sites to substitute within Sequim and Port Angeles . Full year position, up to 35 hours per week, $10.68 – $11.79 hour, DOE. Responsible for assisting Lead Staff in the implementation of the education plan into the daily classroom operations and parent involvement activities. QUALIFICATIONS: Preferred: Two year degree in ECE or related field preferred, Required: CDA or must obtain CDA within one year of employment, plus 2 years of successful work experience in a preschool setting with children ages birth to 5.
