OlyCAP operates several enterprises that both supplement program income and provide employment and training opportunities in the community we serve. The Northwest Passage Thrift Shoppe is a resale shop with a community orientation. We offer volunteer opportunities directly through the shop and through the RSVP program and support training opportunities for community jobs and the developmentally disabled.

The Bayshore Motel serves tourists and travelers on the peninsula. OlyCAP cooperates with local businesses, extending special rates to divers and others spending time along the beautiful Hood Canal.

Bayshore Motel

The Bayshore Motel is located on the beautiful Hood Canal in western Washington. This area of the Hood Canal is rich in marine life and has abundant water activities. The Bayshore is a 12-unit motel managed by OlyCAP on behalf of Jefferson County and it is particularly popular among divers. Profits generated from the Bayshore Motel benefit OlyCAP programs.

OlyCAP Thrift Shoppe

The OlyCAP Thrift Shoppe & Furniture 2 is conveniently located at 10632 Rhody Drive at Ness's Corner in Port Hadlock. Donated merchandise is resold at low prices making affordable clothing and household goods easily accessible to the community. The thrift shoppe offers employment, employment training, and volunteer opportunities to area residents and proceeds from sales support OlyCAP programs. Features at the thrift shoppe include an 1600 square foot furniture outlet, a library containing over 3000 titles, arts & crafts supplies, linens, jewelry, shoes, electronics, kitchen wares, children's items, antiques, collectibles, and more than 2500 pieces of gently used clothing. We have just about everything...and the kitchen sink! Savings opportunities include a 15% discount for senior citizens every Tuesday, a 20% discount for all volunteers, a punch card valued at $10 after 10 purchases of $10 or more, two weekly colored tag sales, a Manager's Weekly Special every Friday, and save 50% off everything in the store the first Saturday of every month. Volunteers are needed to work 3 to 6 hours per week sorting donations and providing customer service. Pick-up service for your gently used furniture, estate, and quality garage sale leftovers is available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; call Karen or Bryce today at 379-3648 to schedule an appointment. Come and visit us and the OlyCAP Community Pea Patch Monday through Saturday, 9 AM to 6PM, and Sundays 12PM to 4PM.
