Housing Services: East Jefferson County 
OlyCAP offers information and referral for housing resources and provides housing options for people depending on need.
Emergency Shelter
Homeless families and victims of domestic violence or assault receive prioritization for the Emergency Shelter Program. Shelter guests may stay 30 days, and receive extensions up to 90 days. During their stay, shelter program participants work with a Housing Resource Specialist who will assist in developing a household action plan based on participants’ individual experiences. In addition to ensuring direct basic needs such as food, medical attention and clothing, other services may include case management, assistance with school enrollment, referral for any needed treatment or counseling, help in finding employment and rental assistance.

Winter Emergency Shelter During the winter season, a temporary emergency shelter for single adults in Port Townsend is made possible through a partnership between COAST (Community Outreach Association Shelter Team), several local churches, other community partners and OlyCAP. Meals are provided. (No Religious services are offered at the Shelter). Located at the American Legion Hall basement at 209 Monroe Street. Check in is between 4 pm and 5 pm daily. The program runs from November 30th 2008 - March 5th, 2009.

Family Transitional Housing
Transitional housing is two-year housing combined with supportive services to help ensure the long-term stability of families. While in transitional housing programs, participants receive ongoing assistance with a broad range of needs. For many local citizens, transitional housing bridges the gap between homelessness and self-sufficiency.

Crossroads
Olympic Community Action Programs provides a two year transitional housing program for up to 10 individuals who have completed inpatient treatment for alcohol or drug abuse. This program is designed for individuals who would be released into homelessness at the end of their treatment. Currently this program is the only one of its type in the state of Washington and has experienced a high degree of success.

Affordable Housing
In April of 2006 OlyCAP opened the long awaited South Seven Senior Village. The project was spawned over coffee years ago when the Community United Methodist Church in Port Hadlock realized that some of their land holdings next to their church could go towards affordable housing. The Senior Village , comprised of 15 one story units, is just the first of three phases with multi-family units planned for the future.

| Supportive Housing
In addition to the above facilities Olympic Community Action Programs in partnership with Jefferson Mental Health Services provides 12 individual apartments and 10 units of shared housing for those in need.
