Energy Assistance
LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program)
Helps low-income families with heating costs, as funding is available. Funded through Dept. of Health & Human Services, administered by the State of Washington Community , Trade, and Economic Development. Assistance is available to defray the cost of a household’s primary heat source, including: electricity, oil, propane, firewood, pellets, or kerosene. The home may be owned or rented. Funds also available for owner-occupied residences in need of repair to heat system, to fix broken windows or other emergency repairs as approved. Serves Clallam and Jefferson counties. Puget Sound Energy Fund
Provides energy assistance for income eligible customers of Puget Sound Energy in Jefferson County.
