CZAR OF CLEANLINESS - EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR!
The ballots have been counted and the winner of this year's annual QCC employee of the year was B. Loraine Wallace. Bob Rosen, Center Director, notes that once again he finished a distant third.
B. Loraine is about to celebrate her 84th birthday. She has served the Center as custodian or, more familiarly as the Czar of Cleanliness for nearly two years. B. Loraine joined the Quilcene Community Center after serving as a school custodian for 35 years. She has shown a dedication far beyond her job description. "We simply can't get her to leave!" Bob reports.
B. Lorraine is modest and not particularly accustomed to the spotlight. When her name and accomplishment was posted on the Quilcene reader board, the tears flowed. She said, "Nothing like this has ever been done for me before!"
Congratulations B. Lorraine!
