OlyCAP's STRATEGIC PLANNING PROCESS

OlyCAP has a formal planning process that addresses both our activities in the community and our internal operations.  We re-examine our program goals every year and our overall strategy every three years.  We look first at the community needs - defined by changing demographics and by the evolution of issues and problems affecting the community. For each area or issue, we try to ask what is being done, who is doing it and whether we have a role in contributing.  In many areas, our role is simply to applaud the efforts of others; in some it is to provide leadership.  We work through programs, through partnerships or through advocacy to help support our community.

Internally, we look at the performance of our administrative support and target issues and opportunities for improvement.
